Description

  • Provide first-line IT support for business users, handling queries, issues, and requests.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra, and Intune for identity, access, device management, and compliance.
  • Manage the SaaS application estate, including user administration, licensing, and security.
  • Carry out user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support the implementation and delivery of IT security controls, policies, and compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of devices, software licences, and compliance actions.
  • Develop scripts, automations, and integrations to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Identify issues, risks, and improvement opportunities and help resolve them.
  • Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers on relationships, escalations, and procurement, and support IT projects through to completion.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Copilot, Microsoft Defender, and Purview preferred.
  • Experience administering Entra ID and Intune.
  • Experience configuring, securing, and supporting Windows systems.
  • Experience providing L2+ end-user support across hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with service management tools such as Freshservice.
  • Experience supporting a hybrid or fully remote user base.
  • Experience administering and supporting SaaS applications, including access control, configuration, licensing, and security.
  • Good understanding of IT security principles and compliance, with a security-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
  • Exposure to scripting in PowerShell and/or Python is desirable, including foundational experience.
  • Experience working in environments subject to ISO27001 and/or Cyber Essentials Plus is desirable.
  • Relevant professional or technical memberships/certifications, or actively working towards them, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working is desirable.
  • Experience in a professional services or consultancy environment is desirable.
