Description

  • Design, configure, and maintain cyber range and computer test bed environments for cybersecurity training, testing, and mission operations.
  • Implement and manage enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, Active Directory, VPNs, VLANs, and SANs.
  • Support deployment and administration of physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems using VMware, KVM, Xen, and related virtualization technologies.
  • Develop and maintain automation, provisioning, imaging, and configuration management solutions using Ansible, Chef, FOG, Python, and Bash.
  • Administer Windows and Linux server environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational readiness.
  • Identify network vulnerabilities and security risks while supporting cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Support integration and operation of specialized technologies such as ICS/SCADA, IoT, RF devices, and camera systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support infrastructure modernization and mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience configuring and operating cyber range or computer test bed environments.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and configuring computer networks, including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, Active Directory, VPNs, VLANs, and SANs using bare metal and virtualized systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, FOG, Project, Python, and Bash scripting.
  • Cloud, physical, and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring experience required.
  • Expertise with hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, and Xen.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server/operating systems engineering and administration.
  • Knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation.
  • Demonstrated experience with technologies including camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, and RF devices.
