Description

  • Design dimensional and enterprise data models, including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, and data marts.
  • Build and optimize Snowflake structures, architecture, performance, and role-based access controls.
  • Develop and tune Power BI semantic models using DAX and Power Query connected to the cloud data warehouse.
  • Develop enterprise reports and migrate existing reports to the new data foundation.
  • Improve existing supply chain dashboards and propose new dashboards based on business needs.
  • Build and monitor production data-integration pipelines using Python, Azure Data Factory, and standardized ingestion frameworks.
  • Gather requirements, lead workshops, and validate solutions with client management and product leadership.
  • Participate in agile team ceremonies and deliver work in short cycles.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (B2-C1), written and spoken, for global collaboration.
  • Experience designing dimensional and enterprise data models, including star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, and data marts.
  • Hands-on Snowflake development experience, including architecture, performance tuning, role-based access control, and end-to-end implementation.
  • Experience building and optimizing Power BI semantic models, DAX, Power Query, and enterprise reports connected to cloud data warehouses.
  • Production experience with data-integration pipelines, preferably Azure Data Factory or equivalent cloud platforms.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills for pipeline development and automation.
  • Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders on requirements gathering, workshops, co-creation, and solution validation.
  • Experience working in agile teams and ceremonies.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD for database changes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SAP data structures, CPG supply chain data, sell-in/sell-out, or retail and market-research data; relevant Snowflake or Azure certifications and conversational Spanish are preferred.
