Description

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to estimate QA scope and document test strategies, scenarios, and standards.
  • Perform manual functional, exploratory, integration, accessibility, and cross-system testing across web, mobile, analytics, and firmware products.
  • Execute and analyze automated test suites and expand automation based on Major Incident and Emergency Change analysis.
  • Manage test environments and collaborate with developers and Release Management to troubleshoot defects and validate fixes.
  • Evaluate product requirements, track defects, and communicate test plans, metrics, and results to stakeholders.
  • Provide Production release sign-offs and coordinate handovers to Reliability and NOC teams.
  • Contribute to QA standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience creating test strategies, plans, and execution for web and mobile applications.
  • Experience testing eCommerce, Point of Sale, and SaaS applications.
  • Experience testing mobile websites and native iOS, Android, and Windows applications.
  • Experience testing Java/C# backend applications and APIs with SQL, NoSQL, ActiveMQ, and Hazelcast or similar caching technologies.
  • Experience testing web UIs across IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome on Linux, Windows, and iOS.
  • Good understanding of network topologies and technologies.
  • Good understanding of data management practices and strong SQL experience.
  • Scripting experience with Python or Shell scripting; performance, load, and Splunk testing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, payment terminals, accessibility testing, Kubernetes, container deployments, high-availability architectures, and JIRA preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail, proactive follow-up, and effective multitasking in Agile environments.
