Description

  • Operate and extend platform capabilities for provisioning, deployment pipelines, access control, and service lifecycle management.
  • Maintain integrations with CI/CD systems, identity and secrets management, internal APIs, and event-driven hooks.
  • Support Snowflake-based access control, data classification, and dynamic masking initiatives using established team patterns.
  • Maintain and improve self-service automation for access provisioning, pipeline failure handling, and service health.
  • Use existing telemetry, alerts, and runbooks to diagnose and resolve platform issues.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and triage production incidents throughout the engagement.
  • Document decisions, open work, and handoff details for returning team members.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience operating cloud analytical data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar.
  • Experience with access control, data masking, governance, and compute management.
  • Experience with containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployment automation.
  • Experience building or operating internal platforms, developer tooling, or self-service infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth/OIDC, webhooks, secrets management, and identity/SSO patterns.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for reliable platform services.
  • Experience owning alerts and runbooks and conducting root cause analysis after incidents.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly in an existing codebase or platform with limited onboarding.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
