Description

  • Validate remediation fixes by confirming vulnerabilities no longer reproduce and intended behavior remains intact.
  • Design and execute regression testing focused on dependency upgrades, configuration changes, and potential blast radius.
  • Build and maintain automated regression coverage for frequently modified areas.
  • Define testable validation and closure criteria with developers.
  • Produce validation evidence for the client’s risk and remediation records.
  • Test across AWS environments and verify consistent deployment behavior.
  • Identify and escalate quality risks when remediation scope is broader than expected.
  • Integrate automated tests into the client’s CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in QA or quality engineering for web applications.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills for collaboration with a U.S.-based engineering team.
  • Experience with both manual exploratory testing and test automation.
  • Automation experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or a comparable modern framework.
  • API testing experience using Postman, REST-assured, or an equivalent tool.
  • Strong regression testing discipline and ability to assess what a change may have broken.
  • Experience testing PHP web applications hosted on AWS, including the ability to read PHP sufficiently to understand changes.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: security testing, OWASP test cases, JMeter or k6, SQL, remediation or technical debt squads, mortgage or financial services, and international client experience.
