Description

  • Define, evolve, and govern the SuperApp mobile architecture for Android and iOS, including modularization, feature modules, dynamic features, and mini-apps.
  • Set and maintain mobile presentation patterns such as MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture, and unidirectional data flow.
  • Define and govern the BFF layer in Java with Spring Boot, including API contracts, aggregation, orchestration, versioning, and resilience patterns.
  • Make architecture decisions based on technical trade-offs involving performance, security, cost, observability, and reliability.
  • Establish and disseminate engineering standards for mobile and backend development, including coding standards, architectural patterns, integration patterns, API contracts, and technical design systems.
  • Lead mobile release engineering, including release trains, phased rollouts, feature flags, and rollback strategies.
  • Ensure mature mobile CI/CD pipelines with end-to-end automation for build, testing, contribution, and signing.
  • Build observability across the product from device to BFF, with proactive monitoring and traceability of critical journeys.
  • Drive mobile security practices aligned with OWASP MASVS, device data protection, hardening, authentication, authorization, and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement continuous improvement cycles, define quality and efficiency metrics, and translate technical data into clear action plans.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in native mobile development, with Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift), and architectural understanding of both platforms.
  • Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot in BFF layers and integration with microservice ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale app and super app architecture, including modularization, design systems, and feature flags.
  • Experience with BFF patterns and experience-oriented API contracts, including REST, GraphQL, events, and messaging.
  • Experience with synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
  • Practical experience with AWS and scalable, resilient cloud architectures.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD, app store distribution, observability, and SRE practices applied to mobile products.
  • Experience using engineering metrics such as DORA metrics and mobile product metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Technical leadership profile with hands-on involvement when needed.
  • Excellent communication and strong ability to work with clients and explain complex technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Presence at the client site 1 to 2 times per week is required.
  • If the candidate lives in the Campinas Metropolitan Region, in-office presence in Campinas is mandatory according to current attendance policy.
