Description

  • Translate business stakeholder needs into clear technical specifications for analytics and AI solutions.
  • Own the full lifecycle of data products from ingestion and modeling through delivery and ongoing monitoring.
  • Implement data validation, automated testing, and quality controls to ensure accurate metrics and trustworthy data.
  • Design and build data transformation layers that apply business rules and prepare datasets for dashboards and AI applications.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to define structured data, data dictionaries, and models for intelligent reporting.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources.
  • Implement data transformations in SQL and Python with attention to performance and scalability.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities, propose solutions, and challenge requirements when needed.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and document architecture and modeling decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven senior-level experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and validation.
  • Solid experience in data modeling and data warehouse design.
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery or another cloud-based data warehouse platform.
  • Ability to understand complex business logic and validate results from a business perspective.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a proactive approach to proposing improvements and challenging requirements.
  • Experience specifying and preparing data requirements for AI or machine learning applications.
  • Advanced or fluent English for reading, writing, and conversation, with constant communication required with international stakeholders.
  • Track record of delivering high-impact projects quickly and with quality.
  • Experience with dbt for transformation and orchestration of analytical pipelines, preferred.
  • Familiarity with data ingestion tools such as Airbyte or Airflow, preferred.
  • Knowledge of automated testing best practices and CI/CD for data pipelines, preferred.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain, Retail, or Consumer Goods industries, preferred.
  • Experience preparing data for generative AI or conversational analytics platforms, preferred.
  • Experience building business-oriented analytical reports or custom visualizations, preferred.
