Description

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines in Azure using Databricks for processing and integration.
  • Support the migration of SAS processes, routines, and analytics solutions to Databricks.
  • Define strategies, standards, and best practices for converting SAS code to Python/PySpark.
  • Implement CI/CD practices for automated deployments and code versioning in GitHub.
  • Design and optimize data models to ensure scalability, performance, and governance.
  • Support cloud migration projects while ensuring data security, quality, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with business and data science teams to deploy AI models in cloud environments.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through data profiling and monitoring.
  • Document data engineering processes, architectures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Azure Data Services and Databricks.
  • Experience or relevant knowledge of SAS.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark.
  • Experience operationalizing machine learning models in Databricks (MLOps).
  • Strong command of Python and SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and version control with GitHub.
  • Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Experience participating in cloud migration projects.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT and integration of large volumes of data.
  • Experience deploying AI models and using tools such as Azure ML.
  • Experience with AI projects and pipeline automation.
  • Preferred: knowledge of data-driven architectures and governance best practices.
  • Preferred: participation in MDM (Master Data Management) initiatives.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Databricks MLflow for model management.
  • Preferred: experience in Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Campinas metropolitan region offices when required by the company's attendance policy.
