Description

  • Build and maintain backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
  • Implement and evolve REST APIs following best practices and versioning standards.
  • Work on the team’s product backlog and deliver features and enhancements aligned with sprint goals.
  • Support the team in diagnosing and resolving incidents.
  • Design PostgreSQL schemas and optimize database queries.
  • Build, debug, and deploy containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate backend services with event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
  • Work within Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Manage time and priorities with end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
  • Produce clear release and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production systems.
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and best practices.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced English with fluent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) and Keycloak is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices is preferred.
