Description

  • Design, implement, and evolve scalable and resilient infrastructure in AWS following cloud architecture best practices.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments to ensure high availability, performance, and workload security.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, with an emphasis on standardization, reuse, and governance.
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Helm and Karpenter to support continuous and safe delivery.
  • Automate operational processes through Python, Bash, and similar scripting to reduce manual work and improve team efficiency.
  • Review infrastructure quality with a critical technical mindset and propose continuous improvements.
  • Administer and integrate observability tools such as Datadog to enable proactive monitoring, intelligent alerts, and well-defined SLOs.
  • Operate and support the Astronomer (Apache Airflow) data orchestration platform to ensure stability and scalability of data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data and engineering teams on Snowflake integration, supporting performance and security best practices.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary Product, Engineering, Data, and Security teams on end-to-end architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Mid to senior-level experience as a DevOps or SRE professional.
  • Advanced AWS experience with services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Route53.
  • Advanced Terraform experience, including reusable modules, workspaces, and remote state.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes administration experience, including cluster management, autoscaling, RBAC, and network policies.
  • Experience with Karpenter for intelligent node provisioning on EKS.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts for application deployment.
  • Strong automation mindset with scripting experience in Python and/or Bash.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
  • Experience with GitOps and infrastructure versioning best practices.
  • Experience with Datadog, including APM, dashboards, monitors, alerts, and SLO/SLA management.
  • Experience operating Airflow-based pipelines through Astronomer or Apache Airflow.
  • Experience integrating with Snowflake, with attention to performance and security in data environments.
  • Previous software development experience and the ability to read, review, and contribute to application code.
  • Knowledge of clean code, design patterns, and APIs.
  • Availability to support the cloud environment during business hours and participate in an on-call rotation outside business hours.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Data, and Security.
  • Experience as a developer is preferred.
