Description

  • Manage and mentor a global team of AI platform DevOps engineers.
  • Coordinate delivery with US-based technical leadership across time zones.
  • Own sprint planning, delivery cadence, and progress reporting.
  • Ensure technical quality through code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Architect and AI/ML Engineering Lead on technical direction.
  • Remove blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and support smooth collaboration.
  • Hire, retain, and motivate top talent while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Define the long-term roadmap and drive release planning and execution.
  • Build reliable, scalable, and automated AI platform services and infrastructure.
  • Support team delivery across India and US organizations.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of agile team management experience as an Engineering Manager.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • Experience in enterprise AI platform infrastructure development in leadership and contributor roles.
  • Ability to mentor both individuals and teams.
  • Good functional understanding of enterprise SaaS products.
  • Experience building enterprise-grade, scalable, cost-efficient, secure AI/ML platforms with resiliency, automation, and observability.
  • Experience with lifecycle management of LLM and embedding models such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Amazon SageMaker.
  • Experience with vector databases such as LanceDB.
  • Exposure to RAG, MCP servers, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, LangChain, or similar technologies.
  • Experience managing AWS services, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Experience managing distributed teams across time zones, with US-India coordination preferred.
  • Strong communication skills across geographies.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
