Description

  • Apply and promote software development and operations best practices to support continuous delivery of high-quality code.
  • Minimize defect rates and optimize system performance through strong engineering practices.
  • Work autonomously and make well-founded technical decisions.
  • Propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Support and mentor team members to share knowledge and strengthen collective growth.
  • Contribute to the modernization of systems for major companies in Brazil.
  • Use AI and generative AI to accelerate development activities, especially code generation and code analysis.
  • Implement process automation scripts to streamline development workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in Information Technology with a track record of delivering projects and solving complex technical challenges.
  • Strong proficiency in Cobol, including best practices and its tooling ecosystem.
  • Experience developing automated tests across multiple layers of the test pyramid.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially Postgres, is a plus.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, including modeling, query optimization, and basic administration, is a plus.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in distributed systems using observability tools, logs, and metrics, is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira Software and Confluence is a plus.
  • Practical experience with prompt engineering and optimizing interactions with language models, is a plus.
  • Experience using Generative AI to accelerate code generation and code analysis, is a plus.
  • Ability to automate development processes using Python, Shell Script, or similar languages, is a plus.
  • Residence in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas requires in-office attendance at the company offices under the current attendance policy.
