Description

  • Lead architectural design and define technology strategy for application modernization and related technical domains.
  • Partner with strategic and delivery leaders to create statements of work and evolve enterprise architecture proposals.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Guide and influence long-term technical direction for modernization transformations and technical engagements.
  • Architect enterprise solutions, reduce technical debt, and set technical roadmaps across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide oversight for complex engineering challenges and collaborate with client and Liatrio architects and engineers.
  • Build, grow, and maintain client relationships with CTOs, CIOs, chief architects, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop 4-8 direct reports through regular feedback and 1:1s.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, staffing, and team rotation decisions to balance capability and prevent burnout.
  • Contribute to customer growth, expansion opportunities, and development of internal accelerators and IP.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a senior architecture or engineering leadership role such as Enterprise Architect, Strategic Architect, Field CTO, Head of Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience leading application modernization and/or DevOps transformations.
  • Strong background in full stack application development and modernization.
  • Fluency in multiple programming languages, including functional and object-oriented programming languages, and databases.
  • Experience building frontend web applications, backend API services, cloud-hosted applications, and full stack solutions.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise environments, distributed systems, and large or multi-cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently with cloud-native architecture, source control, branching strategies, and automation.
  • Experience with containerization, infrastructure as code, platform engineering, observability, and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to communicate with C-level stakeholders and technical subject matter experts and to train or upskill others.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients approximately 50% of the time, including frequent U.S. travel and occasional international travel.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $210,000 to $240,000, depending on experience.
