Description

  • Own proactive monitoring of banking API provider health across 50+ connections and identify issues before they affect clients.
  • Track bank data quality metrics, API response times, connectivity status, and other operational signals across the provider network.
  • Investigate anomalies and root causes, including changes in time-to-authorize or other performance degradation patterns.
  • Manage the SWIFT exception queue and coordinate with banks and clients to resolve repair cases and unblock providers.
  • Handle provider verification workflows across SWIFT, Plaid, Blink, and other connectivity channels.
  • Support the activation of new bank connections by coordinating between engineering and bank technical contacts.
  • Maintain accurate provider records, including coverage, authentication types, product support details, and connection status.
  • Provide post-go-live hypercare and authorization support for clients on newly activated bank connections.
  • Act as the operational bridge between clients, banks, support, customer success, and the development team to resolve provider-specific issues.
  • Build and maintain operational playbooks, documentation, and process improvements for provider monitoring and activation workflows.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, technical support, implementation, or a related role in fintech, SaaS, banking, or technology.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to read dashboards, metrics, and trends and investigate anomalies across large datasets.
  • Basic SQL or data querying ability is a strong plus.
  • AI fluency as a daily working skill, including use of tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for analysis, drafting, triage, and automation.
  • Understanding of APIs, REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and authentication flows.
  • Strong written communication skills for communicating with bank technical contacts, internal teams, and client-facing stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving orientation with the ability to notice issues early and follow through independently.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple provider relationships and operational workflows simultaneously.
  • Experience in open banking, bank connectivity, or financial services operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, bank connectivity protocols, or API aggregation platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring or observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Azure Monitor is preferred.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira, Intercom, Zendesk, or DevOps is preferred.
  • Understanding of data quality concepts and how to interpret DQ metrics across large datasets is preferred.
  • Exposure to banking or API connectivity operations from either the bank side or the fintech side is preferred.
  • Interest in product management as a future career direction is preferred.
