Description

  • Deliver end-to-end process training for team members focused on GDS platforms and Travel Management Company (TMC) processes.
  • Develop training materials, documentation, presentations, and engaging content for GDS systems including Worldspan and Travelport+.
  • Facilitate live in-person and virtual training sessions, as well as e-learning modules.
  • Align training delivery and outcomes with KPIs and other performance deliverables.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on training effectiveness and learner performance, adjusting programs as needed.
  • Identify training needs based on performance metrics and provide targeted solutions and coaching.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, managers, trainers, and stakeholders to improve throughput and training consistency.
  • Stay current on industry trends, GDS advancements, and travel management best practices.
  • Serve as a backup consultant for other accounts or clients as assigned.
  • Support occasional travel to training sites and maintain a designated remote office setup when working from home.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-3 years of experience in training and development within the travel industry.
  • Experience training in the travel industry or with GDS systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency with GDS systems such as Worldspan, Travelport+, Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus.
  • Strong familiarity with team travel processes and Travel Management Company (TMC) operations.
  • In-depth understanding of training KPIs and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience designing and delivering end-to-end process training in a travel-related environment.
  • Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users across different organizational levels.
