Description

  • Coordinate with community managers to schedule meetings with association boards and prospects.
  • Present Choice’s services and vendor proposals at board meetings and decision-maker meetings.
  • Follow an established sales methodology and process to close opportunities.
  • Manage and report on a sales pipeline with a large volume of prospects and renewals.
  • Work with the Contract Management department to identify opportunities and track vendor contract renewals.
  • Prepare meeting documents and materials with administrative support before board presentations.
  • Renew Choice’s agency agreements with management company clients.
  • Travel throughout North and South Carolina for in-person meetings, including occasional evening and overnight trips.
  • Build and maintain relationships with established clients, community managers, and association decision makers.

Requirements

  • Must live in the Greater Columbia, South Carolina area.
  • Must be able to work fully remote from a dedicated home workspace free from distractions and background noise.
  • Must be available to travel 15-25% of the time throughout North and South Carolina, with occasional trips within 175 miles.
  • Prior success selling services and/or contracts to groups during a one-to-three-month sales cycle is required.
  • Experience closing sales in one or two meetings with groups of decision makers is required.
  • Ability to sell against an established vendor and against no-decision situations is required.
  • Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to manage a large pipeline and adapt processes and materials as needed is required.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not required.
  • College degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in multifamily, real estate development, telecommunications, construction, property management, contract negotiation, professional services, or consultative selling is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently without supervision while contributing to a team.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $55,000 to $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
