Description

  • Build and lead Chime’s strategic partnerships and branded entertainment function.
  • Define and scale the company’s presence across sports, music, and entertainment.
  • Identify, structure, negotiate, and close high-impact partnerships with creators, leagues, teams, athletes, talent, studios, and platforms.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for Chime’s cultural presence, including tentpole moments, episodic content, long-term brand platforms, and emerging opportunities.
  • Create breakthrough activation and collaboration ideas with Brand & Creative teams.
  • Integrate partnerships into major campaign moments and product launches.
  • Build scalable frameworks for talent and ambassador partnerships, including content expectations and performance incentives.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle from sourcing through renewal.
  • Establish evaluation criteria and investment guardrails for partnership decisions.
  • Develop measurement systems to track brand lift, engagement, and acquisition impact.
  • Build the team, operating model, and external partner ecosystem to scale the function.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, branded entertainment, sports marketing, or cultural marketing within consumer brands, agencies, or entertainment organizations.
  • Proven track record of landing and activating high-profile partnerships and sponsorships that drove brand relevance and audience growth.
  • Deep understanding of how modern brands authentically participate in sports and entertainment ecosystems.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex sponsorship, licensing, or talent agreements.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with commercial judgment.
  • Established relationships across leagues, agencies, talent representation, and media platforms.
  • Experience translating partnerships into integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Builder mentality with comfort operating without heavy infrastructure.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership while remaining hands-on.

Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $239,000 and up to $330,000, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
  • Eligible for a bonus.
