Description

  • Serve as the post-sales primary point of contact for a portfolio of major financial services customers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across customer organizations, from practitioner teams to CISOs and executive sponsors.
  • Lead business-focused customer onboarding, including success planning, stakeholder alignment, and value delivery milestones.
  • Partner with Solutions Architects to keep business and technical workstreams coordinated during implementation.
  • Lead executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and escalation conversations.
  • Work with sales counterparts to identify expansion opportunities, mitigate renewal risk, and build multi-year account strategies.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and translate customer needs into product and roadmap feedback.
  • Influence cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Sales on behalf of customer accounts.
  • Coordinate with Technical Support and Engineering on escalations while serving as the business-facing lead.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics within large financial institutions and know when to involve Chainguard leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in enterprise customer-facing roles, preferably in or adjacent to financial services.
  • Experience in Customer Success, Strategic Account Management, or Consulting.
  • Ability to operate as a strategic business partner and connect customer goals to measurable business value.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulatory and compliance drivers such as SOC 2, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, and operational resilience frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of software supply chain security, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, container security, or application security.
  • High-autonomy mindset with the ability to own portfolio strategy, make independent decisions, and build new playbooks when needed.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High emotional intelligence, strong prioritization skills, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Preferred experience managing strategic accounts at a cybersecurity or infrastructure software company.
  • Preferred experience supporting or selling into banks, asset managers, insurers, or fintechs.
  • Preferred familiarity with security and compliance obligations in regulated industries.
  • Preferred early-stage startup experience.
