Description

  • Lead technical implementations and adoption of Chainguard Images across Public Sector organizations.
  • Partner with account teams to understand customer goals, address pain points, and drive value realization, retention, and growth.
  • Test, document, and improve Chainguard Images as “customer zero” to support smooth onboarding.
  • Communicate customer requirements to Product and Engineering teams and help prioritize image builds.
  • Maintain account-level architectures and share implementation best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with, teach, and learn from cross-functional Chainguard teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role supporting Public Sector clients.
  • 8+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern software security practices.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to engineers, executives, and other audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with software development processes, practices, and engineering design concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for customer engagements; U.S. citizenship required.
