Description

  • Design, deploy, and optimize technical controls to detect and prevent security incidents.
  • Engineer custom detections, integrate threat intelligence, automate workflows with SOAR, and build AI security operations playbooks.
  • Lead or contribute to incident response efforts, including tabletop exercises.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to embed security best practices into products and processes.
  • Conduct thesis-driven threat hunts across forensic data lakes.
  • Continuously research the threat landscape and support ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in a shared rotational on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, information security, IT engineering, or a combination of these fields.
  • Strong technical background with excellent problem-solving ability and a practiced investigative mindset.
  • Experience securing cloud-native environments.
  • Experience with cloud and endpoint security operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in cloud forensics and incident response.
  • Ability to build automation using Go, Python, or Shell.
  • Threat intelligence experience or strong familiarity with threat intelligence.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple simultaneous work streams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bias for macOS or Linux technology is preferred.
  • Passion for AI is preferred.
  • Offensive security or open-source software development experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Systems preferred but not required.
