Description

  • Own the IT help desk end to end, including equipment provisioning, break-fix support, SLO definition, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and mature the productivity stack, including Google Workspace, Slack, email delivery, and daily-use SaaS tools.
  • Build and execute an IT strategy and capability roadmap within the first 90 days and report progress against it.
  • Coach team members, assess performance, and drive process improvement through personnel management.
  • Rationalize the SaaS stack with Business Applications and other stakeholders to reduce complexity and spend.
  • Define, measure, and hold the team accountable to service-level objectives for core IT services.
  • Expand the use of AI, automation, and managed services to reduce support volume and increase leverage.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify ways technology can improve effectiveness across Engineering, GTM, and G&A teams.

Requirements

  • Experience running an IT or corporate technology function at a high-growth startup.
  • Strong service delivery mindset with a focus on SLOs rather than tickets.
  • Deep expertise in Google Workspace and Slack, including advanced configuration knowledge.
  • Understanding of the security implications of managed tools and the ability to strengthen controls without hurting usability.
  • Experience as a player-coach who can set strategy and perform hands-on work.
  • Prior experience rationalizing a bloated SaaS stack and driving adoption of fewer tools.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, lean environment and building scalable IT operations.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for building and improving systems, with a high standard for quality.

  • Base salary range of $172,000 to $195,000 USD.
