Description

  • Lead customer engagements across onboarding, implementation, adoption, and ongoing support for Federal accounts.
  • Develop success plans that align customer goals, requirements, and challenges with internal teams.
  • Provide guidance on change management and support value realization for large-scale customer rollouts.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally and influence cross-functional teams to act on those needs.
  • Partner with Technical Support and Customer Engineering to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Build hands-on product knowledge and stay current on Chainguard features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with customers and the education team to deliver training on product features, best practices, and security principles.
  • Manage relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, from technical contacts to CISOs.
  • Work with Sales to identify renewal and expansion opportunities while reducing churn risk.
  • Take ownership of the customer portfolio and make proactive decisions to improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public sector-facing roles working with technical and business teams in Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Account Management, Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Support.
  • Relevant domain knowledge in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, containers, regulatory compliance, vulnerability management, or the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and make key decisions about escalations and customer risk mitigation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort building new processes and practices in a new team environment.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and priority management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
  • Previous early-stage startup experience is strongly preferred.
  • Passion for technology and cybersecurity is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on technical experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, containers, Linux, or related security domains is strongly preferred.
