Description

  • Meet with prospective customers to understand their security posture, business challenges, and requirements.
  • Present and demonstrate cyber security solutions, explaining both technical capability and business value.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with the sales team to discover, qualify, and develop opportunities.
  • Support discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and solution validation activities.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the cyber security portfolio.
  • Lead technical responses to RFP, RFQ, and tender opportunities.
  • Map solutions to customer requirements, evaluation criteria, and frameworks such as Essential 8, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Collaborate with bid teams, sales, subject-matter experts, delivery, and engineering teams to produce winning responses and validate proposed solutions.
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored, technically sound, deliverable, and supportable security solutions.

Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in presales, solution consulting, security consulting, or technical sales.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security products and solutions, including endpoint/EDR/XDR, SIEM, firewalls, IAM, email and web security, vulnerability management, cloud security, SASE/Zero Trust, and MDR/SOC.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into tailored, deliverable security solutions.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as Essential 8, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Relevant industry or vendor certifications are highly regarded, such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or Fortinet.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, with strong commercial acumen and an understanding of managed services and project delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical, operational, executive, and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written skills for proposals, tenders, and technical documentation.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative approach.
