Description

  • Lead and define architecture, data, and cloud strategy for large client accounts.
  • Present technical strategy and solutions to C-level executives and align them with business objectives.
  • Design solutions that support enterprise modernization, capability mapping, and emerging technologies such as Agentic AI.
  • Act as the technical bridge between Celonis product and engineering teams and customer teams.
  • Assess the maturity of customer IT landscapes across the region.
  • Participate in pre-sales and post-sales engagements with customer architecture and security teams.
  • Coach Celonis consulting teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, and scalability issues.
  • Develop reusable assets, position papers, and thought leadership presentations for internal and customer use.
  • Create technical designs and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Help remove technical blockers to support sales goals, customer acquisition, retention, and up-selling.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, such as Software vendor Architect, CTO at a top consulting firm, or Enterprise Architect at a customer.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and connect technical solutions to business value and customer objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting complex technical concepts to C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated experience in Capability Mapping, Enterprise Modernization, and a strong understanding of Agentic AI.
  • Strong background in Data Architecture, integration patterns, and data-related languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Strong technical background in system integrations, data operations, and automation capabilities.
  • Ability to move between explaining architecture diagrams and building or assembling a demo.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, and ServiceNow, cybersecurity posture fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures.
  • MSc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree in an Information Technology-related field.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish, French, or Italian is a strong advantage.
  • Celonis certifications and experience with OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines are preferred.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are preferred.
  • ESB/ETL certifications in tools such as Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, or Informatica are preferred.
  • TOGAF or Zachman certification is preferred.
  • Experience in at least two domains such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer/Consumer Management, HR, or Procurement is preferred.
  • Experience in the Public Sector or Defence industry is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $173,000 to $233,000 USD for the Washington, D.C. role.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, bonus/commission, equity, and benefits.
