Description

  • Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of 3–6 pre-sales engineers while driving operational excellence and adoption of SC 2.0 behaviors.
  • Oversee the scoping, design, and delivery of technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, and POC/POV engagements.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Directors on opportunity qualification, account planning, territory strategy, and booking outcomes.
  • Develop customer installation models, system integration plans, and product feasibility analyses for complex enterprise sales.
  • Translate customer feedback and field patterns into platform capabilities by collaborating with Product Management and Product Marketing.
  • Act as a technical liaison and trusted advisor for enterprise clients, including participation in executive briefings, conferences, and seminars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience is not accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical architecture within enterprise software.
  • 3+ years of experience selecting, developing, and leading technical individual contributors or pre-sales teams.
  • Documented success working under a sales incentive plan tied to revenue, bookings, or unit sales.
  • Expertise in system integration planning, modern enterprise architecture, complex product demonstrations, and technical win strategies.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% to customer locations and field events.
  • Experience managing technical pre-sales teams in a high-growth SaaS, PaaS, or cloud-native environment preferred.
  • Understanding of BPM, workflow automation, case management, or AI-enabled automation platforms preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow preferred.
