Description

  • Own the AI platform end to end in production, including architecture, delivery, operations, cost, quality, and on-call support.
  • Design, build, and operate agentic-AI systems, including LLM services, retrieval pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, execution runtimes, and human-in-the-loop capabilities.
  • Build and maintain memory infrastructure, agent-definition management APIs, and tool registry definitions.
  • Own LLMOps infrastructure, including model selection, evaluation harnesses, offline and online metric comparison, and drift or regression alerts.
  • Implement telemetry, guardrails, and technical controls for AI compliance frameworks.
  • Create architecture proposals, prototypes, and RFCs that align near-term delivery with the platform roadmap.
  • Improve CI/CD, SDLC practices, reliability, observability, monitoring, incident response, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot persistent production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Mentor developers on engineering practices and responsible AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, and third-party LLMOps or evaluation platforms.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with impact beyond a single team.
  • 2+ years building and operating production AI systems, including latency, cost, accuracy, and reliability trade-offs.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with agent frameworks, agent memory systems, or orchestration of tool-using AI systems.
  • Production AWS experience and Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS or multi-tenant platforms at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code-quality practices.
  • Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs, such as REST or GraphQL.
  • Experience mentoring developers and influencing architecture across teams.
  • Experience using and validating AI-assisted development tools and agentic-AI development practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with AI guardrails, governance, or compliance frameworks such as ISO 42001, AIUC-1, or NIST AI RMF (preferred).
  • Experience with RAG, embedding pipelines, hybrid search, LLMOps evaluation, or third-party ML/LLMOps platforms (preferred).
  • Experience in regulated domains or familiarity with accounting, auditing, or financial workflows (preferred).
