Description

  • Create prototypes and software design proposals that deliver short-term business value while aligning with future product and architecture vision.
  • Research and break down large initiatives into parallelizable work streams that deliver incremental value toward end goals.
  • Champion proposals through the full Agile SDLC from design to implementation.
  • Contribute to improvements in the core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC.
  • Work with senior developers and architects to define and execute the product architecture roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and eliminate recurring root causes in the product.
  • Facilitate design discussions within the squad and across teams.
  • Represent the team in technical discussions with Tech Leads, Operations, Product/UX, and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor other developers through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
  • Maintain technical documentation and create new artifacts when needed.
  • Share knowledge of new technologies and industry best practices to strengthen coding standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and instrument AI-powered developer tooling and measure its impact on velocity and quality.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience building highly distributed microservice architecture using Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, and Gradle.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills with an emphasis on code quality, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with complex projects in the public cloud, ideally AWS.
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or a similar tool.
  • Experience creating and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Strong initiative to improve processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality.
  • Experience with test-driven development and writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience developing and working with thoughtfully designed HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
  • Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to integrate AI-assisted development into the daily workflow and critically evaluate AI-generated output before use.
  • Nice to have: SPA development using Angular/TypeScript.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Serverless Framework.
  • Nice to have: Experience with trunk-based development.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, RestAssured, and JMeter.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of accounting and auditing concepts.
  • Nice to have: Experience working in a large enterprise monorepo codebase, preferably NX.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Docker and ideally Kubernetes.
