Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub, including market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and overall market performance.
  • Build a strong team culture by creating morale and spirit across the market.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance check-ins, goal setting, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Recognize individual and team accomplishments using organizational tools and creative recognition methods.
  • Generate and monitor reports and present updates to upper management.
  • Act as a go-to expert by stepping in to support car washing, vehicle delivery, and other frontline needs.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while maintaining operational detail and quality.
  • Improve the overall customer and Advocate experience.
  • Address and manage complex, sensitive customer-facing issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and helping teams exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve as the company grows.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods, including 8+ hours.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to stay stationary for extended periods while driving, up to 3 hours at a time.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
