Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub and oversee market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and ongoing market success.
  • Create a positive team environment and strengthen morale and spirit across the market.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance check-ins, and goal setting to support employee development.
  • Recognize individual and team achievements using existing programs and creative recognition methods.
  • Generate, monitor, and present regular reports to upper management.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for the team and step in to wash, deliver, or otherwise support daily operations as needed.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while maintaining operational detail and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and the Advocate team experience.
  • Resolve complex and sensitive customer-facing issues effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve as the company grows.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • An analytical mind preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time, including 8+ hours.
  • Ability to reach, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving requires strong visual activity and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time while driving, up to 3 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to communicate accurately with customers.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
