Description

  • Generate new business leads and close deals.
  • Lead and execute ADESA’s dealer sales strategy.
  • Manage, develop, and oversee the sales team.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach Sales Representatives.
  • Set expectations and drive the team to meet or exceed sales and performance goals.
  • Build and maintain positive customer and employee relationships.
  • Apply a strong understanding of sales process, metrics, and compensation.
  • Demonstrate product and service knowledge while maximizing technology in day-to-day work.
  • Use a transparent, reliable, and positive communication style.
  • Support process design and implementation for sales operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Previous success as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and qualification to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must be 18 years of age and meet corporate driving standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to changing work environments.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Strong business development acumen.
  • Experience with conflict resolution, coaching, and organized, systematic work approaches.
