Description

  • Develop new and existing federal accounts across the assigned territory to meet or exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets.
  • Build and grow a robust sales pipeline through outbound account visits and proactive customer engagement.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts to identify expansion and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and manage the sales process from opportunity to close.
  • Organize and conduct sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations for prospects.
  • Manage and expand an existing book of install base customers while closing new logos.
  • Represent Okta professionally within the Defense Industrial Base ecosystem and assigned territory.
  • Travel as needed, including moderate travel to the DC area, and attend in-person onboarding in San Francisco or Chicago during the first week.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of proven experience selling technology, preferably in the FSI space.
  • Experience selling to RTX/Raytheon preferred.
  • Proven track record of selling complex services and solutions in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to close sales using effective sales and negotiation methods.
  • Strong territory development mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across Okta and Defense Industrial Base ecosystems.
  • Extensive customer and Defense Industrial Base network.
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred, or applicable experience.
  • Ability to access federal environments and/or protected federal data.
  • Must be able to provide documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hire (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
