Description

  • Prepare initial drafts of LP transfer documents, including transfer agreements, consents, and subscription agreements.
  • Liaise with transfer parties on process and timings.
  • Assist with execution workflows for fund transfer matters.
  • Work closely with lawyers and senior paralegals on fast-moving, high-volume client work.
  • Contribute to high-quality client delivery across the funds practice.
  • Build commercial and legal expertise over time.
  • Take ownership of client accounts as experience grows.
  • Rotate across or specialize in one of three practice areas based on strengths and interests.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate Law degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • A GDL is welcome.
  • Prior exposure to LP transfer processes is a plus but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in legal practice, including compliance, contracts, or funds.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort collaborating with lawyers, senior paralegals, and client-facing teams.
  • Interest in progressing toward qualification via the SQE route.
