Description

  • Serve as a full member of the Executive Team and strategic partner to the CEO on enterprise planning, decision-making, and organizational performance.
  • Help shape CareMessage’s multi-year organizational strategy and translate it into an actionable operating model.
  • Lead and align People Operations, Finance, Compliance and Risk, Operations, and IT in support of company priorities.
  • Own the operating plan, operating cadence, decision rights, and execution discipline across functions.
  • Connect functional priorities to company OKRs and resolve cross-functional tradeoffs so the organization acts as one team.
  • Own compliance and risk management, including board reporting and committee engagement.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and long-term operating sustainability.
  • Coach functional leaders, support succession planning, and strengthen team culture, accountability, and performance.
  • Drive the company’s internal AI and automation strategy, including policies, tooling, workflow adoption, and staffing implications.
  • Launch and refine operating improvements, dashboards, and quick wins tied to mission impact and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of multidisciplinary executive experience in strategic leadership across multiple functions.
  • Experience leading senior operating, finance, people, or general-management roles.
  • A technology organization background, such as tech nonprofit or scaled tech company experience.
  • Experience shaping multi-year organizational strategy, not only executing strategy set by others.
  • Proven ability to balance mission impact with disciplined business operations.
  • Experience leading organizations through growth stages beyond 100 employees.
  • Recent, hands-on experience deploying AI and automation in an operating context.
  • Experience working with executive teams and ideally governing boards or board committees.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including effective board presentation ability.
  • Preferred: Experience building or leading AI-forward operating functions, working in nonprofit or safety-net environments, or operating in healthcare ecosystems.

Benefits

  • Starting base salary of $287,500 per year.
  • Automatic increase to $328,660 per year at the six-month mark if expectations are met.
  • Equal pay for equal work regardless of geographic location.
  • Remote role based in the U.S.
  • Full-time position as a member of the Executive Team.
