Description

  • Oversee day-to-day office and clinical operations to ensure continuity of services, task completion, and staff coverage.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including RN and PT Case Managers, and monitor workflow, schedules, and productivity.
  • Develop, manage, and support on-call coverage and off-hours operations.
  • Review, approve, and follow up on clinical documentation, audits, complaints, and quality improvement reports.
  • Ensure plans of care are properly executed, reassessed, and documented for transfers and discharges.
  • Manage intake, referral, admission, transfer, non-admission, and billing processes to support timely reimbursement.
  • Approve schedules, payroll transmittals, non-visit activity, and accounts payable according to company timelines.
  • Complete and distribute audits and reports, address findings, and maintain clinical, operational, and HR performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and internal regulations and maintain survey readiness for external audits.
  • Lead staff meetings, in-services, case conferences, ongoing education, and support field operations as needed.
  • Participate in community outreach, disaster preparedness, drills, and emergency response activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of home health care experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience within the last 36 months.
  • Medicare home health experience is required.
  • Current state nursing licensure and CPR certification are required.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing home health operations.
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions and auto insurance meeting state minimums.
  • Responsible for supervising home health aides; supervisory experience is preferred.
  • 2 years of home health experience required; 3+ years of home health experience preferred.
  • Preceptor experience preferred.
  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
  • Nursing skills must meet competency checklist requirements.
