Description

Make outbound calls to patients from an assigned patient pool.
Educate patients on the benefits of the care coordination program.
Persuade eligible patients to enroll in the Medicare-sponsored program.
Build rapport with prospective patients during telephone conversations.
Tailor messaging to patients based on demographics, health concerns, and insurance.
Maintain a high volume of calls and spend most of the workday on the phone.
Enter accurate notes and patient information during calls.
Collaborate effectively within the Patient Engagement Specialist team.

Requirements

Strong people skills.
Proven adaptability in a high-volume sales environment with the ability to meet deadlines and metrics.
Ability to consistently handle high call volume and spend more than 80% of the time on the phone.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain the program in an informative, influential, concise, and personable manner.
Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate leadership.
Warm and professional phone etiquette with patients.
High-quality data entry skills and the ability to multitask.
Empathy and a patient-focused mindset.
Ability to creatively deliver education and tailor messaging to highlight program benefits.
Comfort working with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Skype.
Availability during business hours from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST.
Associate degree or higher.
US-based location.
Sedentary work that requires sitting for long periods and speaking/listening by phone for extended periods.
