Description

  • Own the Modeling Platform strategy and roadmap across products and domains.
  • Define reusable modeling primitives, including objects, relationships, inputs, calculations, outputs, dimensions, and measures.
  • Establish consistent structures for actuals, forecasts, versions, and scenarios.
  • Define cross-model interoperability for sharing data, assumptions, calculations, and outputs.
  • Partner with Engineering on schemas, APIs, system behavior, performance constraints, and architectural tradeoffs.
  • Determine platform-versus-product boundaries and evolve durable abstractions over time.
  • Partner with Design and product teams to create intuitive modeling experiences.
  • Drive alignment and decisions across Product, Engineering, Design, and domain experts.
  • Ensure the platform supports AI agents while maintaining deterministic model execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in platform, data, modeling, analytics, or technically complex products.
  • Track record of building shared platform capabilities used across multiple products, teams, or use cases.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to partner with senior engineers on architecture and system design.
  • Experience with or strong understanding of modeling systems, including data, relationships, calculations, and business logic.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Design, Product, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills for navigating ambiguity and complex tradeoffs.
  • Experience with enterprise modeling, planning, analytics, BI, data platforms, spreadsheets, or developer platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with FP&A, sales planning, incentive compensation, workforce planning, or related enterprise planning domains preferred.
  • Experience with semantic layers, calculation engines, data modeling systems, workflow engines, low-code/no-code platforms, or AI/agent platforms preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; CaptivateIQ participates in E-Verify.
