Description

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control methodologies, processes, and testing frameworks.
  • Establish and promote standards for the software development lifecycle, testing practices, documentation, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform code and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test strategies across multiple applications and services.
  • Identify, document, triage, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDLC.
  • Evaluate software quality tools, testing frameworks, and industry best practices and recommend improvements.
  • Support testing efforts across multiple Agile delivery teams and coordinate cross-team testing dependencies.
  • Validate application functionality, performance, reliability, and security requirements.
  • Contribute to CI/CD testing practices and support UAT, release validation, and production deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering roles.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality assurance methodologies, testing strategies, and quality standards.
  • Experience performing code reviews and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test plans and test cases.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects.
  • Experience supporting Agile software development teams.
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software systems.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and modern web application architectures.
  • Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, SonarQube, Checkmarx, JMeter, or Cucumber, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, or single sign-on (SSO) platforms, preferred.
  • Experience testing systems using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or related identity protocols, preferred.
  • Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed in AWS environments, preferred.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality gates, preferred.
  • Experience supporting federal government agencies, preferred.
  • Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB, 508 Certified Tester, or similar certification, preferred.
