Description

  • Design test plans, methodologies, and scenarios covering functional, performance, reliability, security, and Military Standard compliance requirements.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites across unit, multi-unit, and system-testing levels.
  • Manage containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Execute laboratory, hardware, software, and field-site testing across multiple systems.
  • Collect and analyze performance, reliability, and security metrics to support product refinement.
  • Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and manage defect lifecycles with development teams.
  • Produce test evidence, execution metrics, formal reports, and performance summaries for release and operational readiness decisions.
  • Follow federal compliance standards, security protocols, version-control practices, and quality-assurance procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in system integration and testing.
  • Experience architecting, building, and scaling modern test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash and strong knowledge of Linux.
  • Experience with Agile development, user-interface analysis, defect lifecycle management, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including customer briefings, user training, technical reports, and test documentation.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, security scanning, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity control validation preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $155,000–$170,000, commensurate with experience and technical skills.
  • Remote work arrangement with potential travel to customer and field sites in Virginia.
