Description

  • Provide oversight for commercial clients across health system, employer, labor/union, and public verticals for large and jumbo accounts.
  • Serve as the relationship liaison for an assigned book of business and coordinate internal support to strengthen client relationships.
  • Develop relationship strategy plans in partnership with the clinical account manager and account manager.
  • Lead strategic business reviews, prioritize initiatives, and maintain momentum across sales and implementation cycles.
  • Support member and client satisfaction goals, including net promoter score objectives.
  • Provide trend management recommendations and present reporting to clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of contractual obligations, including financials, performance guarantees, terms, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Lead the client renewal and contract management process.
  • Own performance guarantee reporting and maintenance.
  • Lead regulatory and compliance responsibilities and review the product roadmap against client expectations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assemble internal resources to resolve client challenges.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry and/or pharmacy benefits.
  • Experience supporting integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospital systems, or academic medical centers.
  • Ability to balance plan sponsor goals with health-system pharmacy objectives.
  • Experience facilitating consensus among stakeholders with competing incentives using data, clinical rationale, and contract terms.
  • Working knowledge of 340B program mechanics.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory considerations affecting health systems and PBM oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in health administration, business, or relevant professional experience.
  • Strong data analysis, presentation, financial reporting, and statistical reporting skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act diplomatically.
  • Progressive staff management experience.
  • Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strategic, operational, implementation-focused, detail-oriented, and self-directed work style.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Travel up to 25% during peak periods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software programs.
  • PharmD preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote work for non-local candidates or hybrid work for candidates local to the NYC area.
  • Base salary range of $160,000-$170,000 USD for remote U.S. candidates.
  • Base salary range of $163,600-$204,500 USD for New York, NY candidates.
  • Base salary range of $150,000-$187,500 USD for Denver, CO candidates.
