Description

  • Provide first-line end user support for local and remote users, including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 ticket troubleshooting.
  • Support, configure, and maintain architecture and engineering applications, serving as the liaison between end users, IT, and application vendors.
  • Monitor the service desk, backup systems, daily reports, and file restore requests.
  • Consult with users to understand current and future technology needs.
  • Identify areas where end user equipment should be upgraded.
  • Monitor system performance and provide security, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.
  • Set up and modify user accounts, access permissions, and file access controls to protect confidentiality and proper use.
  • Test and evaluate hardware and software for efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain network files, backups, printers, Active Directory users and groups, and related systems such as mailboxes, phone systems, and extensions.
  • Attend vendor training and stay current on technology changes; local travel to other sites may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related IT experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Microsoft Windows desktop and server certifications preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical resolutions in a clear, user-friendly, professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple technology issues, and prioritize deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Windows 7/10/11 desktops, Microsoft Office, and VMware vSphere required.
  • ITIL knowledge preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter with innovative thinking.
