Description

  • Review JOC RFPs and lead go/no-go decision-making with the team.
  • Engage potential JOC clients on discovery calls and develop proposals tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain opportunity records in Deltek VantagePoint.
  • Manage the proposal team’s calendar, workflow, tasks, and deadlines in Trello to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Lead the Simplebid® Marketing team and support direct reports’ growth and engagement.
  • Organize and maintain the shared marketing file structure.
  • Develop written or design-based market-specific content for FOS marketing pursuits.
  • Review proposals for brand compliance, clarity, grammar, formatting, and client requirements.
  • Create board-level executive summary presentations for completed projects.
  • Represent the marketing department in weekly internal leadership meetings and collaborate with senior project managers, legal, compliance, accounting, and market leaders.
  • Manage the proposal content library in Loopio and oversee the sales-to-service transition process.
  • Track marketing KPIs and oversee marketing research efforts.
  • Support interview preparation, presentation development, and coaching.
  • Participate in FOS leadership strategic planning and broader BMBD initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 7+ years of related experience required.
  • Experience in marketing or communications for a professional services firm is required.
  • Demonstrated success marketing professional services and products, regardless of industry.
  • Market-specific experience is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and research skills.
  • Superior verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills are desired but not required.
  • Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about innovation.
  • Strong time management and project management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Solid management, strategic thinking, and writing or design skills, with interest in further developing at least one of those areas.
  • Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems including Deltek CRM Vision and HubSpot.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating proposal production proficiency are required with the application.
