Description

  • Be the first point of contact for customer payment questions and issues across multiple communication channels.
  • Investigate and resolve payment problems end-to-end, owning each case through closure.
  • Escalate and coordinate issues with Finance, Engineering, Compliance, or Product when needed.
  • Manage customer tickets and communications using Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Provide customers with clear, proactive, and timely updates on issues and resolutions.
  • Identify recurring issues and help improve internal processes and documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams on new payment features and launches.
  • Manage, modernize, and execute Caliza’s customer success systems to support customer needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B cross-border payments, fintech, payments, brokers, or financial correspondent banks, or a similar environment.
  • Experience being client-facing and managing high-trust customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to own issues independently and drive them to resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English.
  • Strong organization skills, calm demeanor under pressure, and ability to manage multiple requests.
  • Experience using CRM and support tools such as Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Experience with AI tools such as OpenAI or Claude for data analysis and data queries.
  • Must be a cross-functional collaborator with low ego.
  • Exposure to crypto, stablecoins, or modern payment rails is preferred.
  • Familiarity with KYB, KYC, AML, or compliance workflows is preferred.
  • Experience supporting global customers across time zones is preferred.
  • Advanced Spanish language skills are preferred.
