Description

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA Retail pricing and promotions solutions, including PMR, OPP, and Condition Contract Pricing.
  • Translate client business requirements into detailed enterprise application designs aligned with business processes and SAP best practices.
  • Lead business-process design, blueprint, and Fit-to-Standard workshops for pricing and promotions functionality.
  • Author business requirements, functional specifications, programming specifications, process diagrams, and coding/logic flowcharts.
  • Configure and customize SAP pricing and promotions functionality, including retail price calculation, margin logic, promotional price planning, condition technique, and POS outbound pricing.
  • Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing, including test planning, defect triage, resolution, and knowledge transfer.
  • Manage budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning for assigned workstreams.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and provide day-to-day direction to functional and technical consultants.
  • Serve as a client-facing point of contact for project status, risks, issues, and recommendations.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and follow company quality and information security processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant SAP functional/technical consulting experience.
  • Experience operating in a lead or subject matter expert capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Retail pricing and promotions.
  • Experience with PMR, OPP, and/or Condition Contract Pricing preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with retail price calculation, margin logic, regular and promotional price planning, and condition technique.
  • Experience translating business requirements into enterprise application design and creating programming specifications, process diagrams, and coding/logic flowcharts.
  • Experience leading business-process design, blueprint, and Fit-to-Standard sessions.
  • Experience supporting SIT/UAT test cycles.
  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, and training functional and technical consultants.
  • Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active government clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • SAP certification in Retail, Pricing/Promotions, or S/4HANA functional configuration preferred.
  • Experience with additional CAR modules such as OAA or POS DM/TDM preferred.
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • PMP or comparable project/program leadership certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in government contracting or public sector consulting preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or SAP Activate delivery methodologies preferred.
  • Experience with reporting/analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI preferred.
  • Experience integrating with adjacent SAP modules such as SD, MM, or Retail Merchandising preferred.
