Description

  • Conduct site walk-throughs to support implementation planning.
  • Communicate and enforce scope of work and manage contractor schedules.
  • Lead installation projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Train, coach, and manage team performance to improve productivity.
  • Estimate time, cost, and logistics for installation projects.
  • Manage project materials, documentation, and process efficiencies.
  • Oversee escalated customer, resident, and contractor concerns.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with client site teams and internal SmartRent teams.
  • Evaluate staffing, compliance, and project needs to maintain quality standards.
  • Travel to site locations nationwide to manage projects, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with natural leadership abilities.
  • Background in residential construction management.
  • Hands-on experience training customers on software systems.
  • Technical support experience with enterprise hardware/software or SaaS solutions.
  • Previous experience in face-to-face client meetings.
  • Ability to de-escalate situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 80% of the time, across the country.
  • Proficiency in writing about technical subjects in a clear and engaging style.
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and organizational skills to manage multiple client requests.
  • Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
  • General understanding of HVAC systems (preferred).
  • Experience in property management, customer service, or hospitality (preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of smart home devices and installation processes (preferred).
