Description

  • Build robust, scalable, and maintainable Ruby on Rails applications with strong test coverage.
  • Debug issues, fix bugs, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve application performance.
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
  • Solve complex technical problems and collaborate with teammates on architecture and solutions.
  • Deploy and maintain multi-tier, multi-stage web applications.
  • Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Help refine internal engineering processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests; test-first approach is a plus.
  • Comfort with JavaScript, jQuery, and frontend fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of HTML, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Comfortable using the Unix command line.
  • Curiosity about new technologies and modern development practices.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team.
  • Confident, humble, and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum 80% marks in both 10th and 12th standard.
  • Experience building database-driven applications with significant user interaction is preferred.
  • Contributions to open-source projects are preferred.
  • Experience with NoSQL/document databases such as Redis or MongoDB is preferred.
  • Exposure to modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular is preferred.
  • Experience using Git (GitHub/Bitbucket) for collaboration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Pivotal Tracker is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with SASS, LESS, or HAML is preferred.
  • Clear communication and willingness to ask questions.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from senior engineers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative product environment.
  • Strong desire to build real products that solve real problems.
