Description

  • Act as the sole owner of EU BI data management across business lines.
  • Design and implement data structures that meet compliance, business, and financial reporting needs.
  • Ensure data coverage across all EU-licensed entities, including MiCAR, EMI, MIFID, and future licenses.
  • Establish and maintain a unified data architecture for consistent cross-entity reporting.
  • Own and deliver regular regulatory reports accurately and on time.
  • Produce financial projections and business data analysis to support management decisions.
  • Manage tax reporting data requirements and ensure data readiness for audits.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve business data discrepancies.
  • Lead the EU data governance framework, including segregation and data protection policies.
  • Proactively identify and escalate business risks through data insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven professional background in Business Intelligence, data processing, financial analysis, or business data analysis.
  • Experience in the financial industry or at large exchanges, with exposure to big data environments.
  • Track record of managing data governance, compliance reporting, or regulatory data submissions.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Python/R, and BI platforms.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and data structure design.
  • Experience with financial data processing and reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and EU regulatory standards, including GDPR and DORA.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Previous experience at a crypto exchange, fintech, or licensed financial institution is preferred.
