Description

  • Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand their delivery stack, carrier relationships, integrations, and operational pain points.
  • Build and deliver tailored demos of Pulse AI and the full API for different customer verticals.
  • Scope and run proof-of-concept integrations, guiding customer engineering teams from webhook setup to live order flow.
  • Stay hands-on through initial implementation and drive first production orders before handoff to post-sales and forward deployed teams.
  • Architect end-to-end delivery solutions for multi-stakeholder enterprise deals across engineering, operations, and procurement.
  • Respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due-diligence requests quickly and clearly.
  • Produce detailed integration specifications and handoff documentation for post-sales and engineering teams.
  • Surface prospect feedback and recurring objections to product and engineering to help shape the roadmap.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to close deals and communicate Burq’s value to technical and business buyers.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Developer Relations.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, delivery, or a closely adjacent industry.
  • Comfort reading and writing code and walking a prospect’s engineering team through a REST API integration hands-on.
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with TMS, OMS, and WMS platforms and how they connect within an enterprise tech stack.
  • Strong commercial instinct and ability to qualify deals within a multi-stakeholder buying process.
  • Ability to translate technical capability into business value.
  • Experience with parcel, last-mile, or multi-carrier environments is highly valued.
  • Self-directed mindset and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Preferred background in marketplace, on-demand, or gig-economy platforms.
  • Preferred experience with delivery management platforms, route optimization tools, or carrier aggregators.
  • Preferred familiarity with EDI, carrier APIs, label generation, or tracking event streams.
  • Preferred exposure to enterprise retail, grocery, or pharmacy logistics at scale.
