Description

  • Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Build data systems that support analytics, machine learning, and operational use cases.
  • Design and implement efficient data models for reporting and downstream data products.
  • Own and manage cloud-based data infrastructure using modern data tooling.
  • Partner with product, operations, engineering, data science, and analytics teams on data products and decision support.
  • Implement monitoring, validation, governance, and controls to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Architect data solutions that can scale with increasing data volume and complexity.
  • Support the optimization of data used for delivery operations and customer experience improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • Experience with at least one programming language: Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Hands-on experience with data streaming tools such as Kafka or Kinesis is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Builder mentality and comfort working in ambiguity, with fast iterations, and in a small team.
