Description

  • Define the future-state product management role and distinguish it from business ownership, process ownership, technical product ownership, and engineering functions.
  • Develop role architectures and competency models with outcome-based definitions and required business and technical fluency.
  • Design interaction models across product, business, and engineering teams, including decision rights, workflows, and accountability.
  • Build transition and retirement maps for current role families to support organizational direction and workforce planning.
  • Lead capacity planning, organization sizing, workforce analysis, and talent transition frameworks with workforce planning and change management teams.
  • Create leadership-ready role comparisons, operating models, workshop materials, and other deliverables aligned with leadership milestones.
  • Collaborate with product, HR, and Legal stakeholders while distinguishing advisory recommendations from client decisions.
  • Integrate AI-enabled and specification-driven development requirements into product management roles.
  • Manage enterprise product backlogs, business processes, product roadmaps, product vision, and product blueprints.

Requirements

  • 15–18 years of experience, including substantial hands-on experience designing and implementing product management functions in large, complex organizations.
  • Experience in regulated sectors is preferred.
  • Expertise in product management function design and implementation.
  • Experience with organization design, role architecture, and competency model development.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled, specification-driven development models.
  • Experience managing product backlogs at program and enterprise scale.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps and vision for large organizations.
  • Experience designing product blueprints and analyzing or mapping enterprise business processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with presentation and documentation tools such as PowerPoint, Miro, and Lucidchart.
  • Knowledge of talent transition frameworks and workforce planning methodologies.
