Description

  • Build and ship full-stack product features across a Python/Flask backend and React frontend.
  • Design and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Build reliable and performant backend services using SQLAlchemy ORM and relational data models.
  • Contribute to LLM-powered features by building AI integrations, prompts, and pipelines.
  • Evaluate quality and reliability considerations for AI-assisted workflows.
  • Communicate trade-offs and provide feedback on code and implementation decisions during development.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and engineering partners to deliver work end to end.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Significant React frontend experience with ownership of a feature end to end.
  • Strong Python experience, including building REST and GraphQL APIs with Flask or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency with SQLAlchemy or other ORMs and relational data models.
  • Experience with Celery or similar async task queues and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience working at a SaaS company.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding and integrating AI APIs.
  • React Native or mobile experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely, with hiring limited to the US and Spain and specific US states listed in the posting.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $120,000–$155,000 CAD, based on experience.
